A Detailed Project Report, or DPR, has been created by Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Ltd (IPRCL) for the pod taxi service between Noida Airport at Jewar and Film City. A driverless taxi service between the two locations is planned. According to the detailed project report (DPR) provided to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, this will cost approximately Rs 862 crore (Yeida). There are 14 kilometres here. The first pod taxi service in India will be this one. The country’s first pod taxi will run between Noida Airport and Film City.
Four to six people can fit in a single pod taxi. The Noida International Airport, film city, and other industrial and residential districts will all be easily connected by this significant project. The corridor will travel through a number of sectors, including those in the Yamuna Expressway region’s sectors 21, 28, 29, 30, and 32, among others, according to the DPR. The country’s first pod taxi will run between Noida Airport and Film City.
